Arts-n-Meals: Nourishing Essential Creative Connections program. This program’s purpose is to reduce social isolation among older adults living in their homes in rural communities that have no senior centers, therefore no opportunities for creative and social engagements. The program pairs a creative engagement ( art project) with a social engagement ( catered lunch to increase socialization and friendships. Pinal Gila Council for Senior Citizens is the host who partners with ArtMobile-AZ Lisa Swanson, who facilitates the event and Central Arizona Meals on Wheels who provides 5 frozen meals to be given to each participant.
This is hosted in our Fellowship hall.
